Strengthening partner-led growth and accelerating SAP HCM transformation across EMEA

EMEA — December 16, 2025 – SpinifexIT today announced the appointment of Brendon Andrews-Warmuth as Vice President, Alliances and Product Enablement – EMEA.

This appointment reflects SpinifexIT’s continued investment in partner-led growth and its commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality outcomes for SAP customers across Europe, the UK, and Ireland, with a particular focus on DACH and UKI.

In his role, Brendon will lead SpinifexIT’s Alliances strategy across EMEA, working closely with SAP and strategic systems integrator partners to expand joint customer transition and transformation to the cloud and strengthen partner enablement. He will also continue to drive Product Strategy and Enablement, ensuring that partner and customer insight directly informs the evolution of SpinifexIT’s solutions – HCM Move program.

  • Growing partner-sourced net-new pipeline and qualified opportunities
  • Building a strong, reference-able SI partner ecosystem
  • Driving the success of the HCM Move program across opportunities and delivery

By connecting Product, Sales, Consulting, SAP, and Partners, this role creates a more unified and repeatable approach to helping customers move, run, and optimize SAP HCM environments with confidence.

Reporting Data from Multiple SAP HCM Systems (ECC, ECP, S/4HANA) in a Single Report

As customer landscapes become increasingly complex, there is a growing need to merge data from various environments into a single report.

The Need for Cross-System Reporting

Cross-system reporting is essential for various purposes, including:

  • Consolidated Reporting for Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll:
    Combining data from both systems into a single report.
  • Multiple Production Systems: Customers with multiple production systems may need consolidated reports, such as headcount or payroll reports.
  • Multiple SAP Systems: Customers using Employee Central Payroll and separate S/4HANA systems (e.g., for CATS or other HCM data) may need to consolidate and compare data across these systems.
  • Migration Comparison: Comparing data, including payroll results, during migration to a new system.
  • Group Consolidation: Headquarter-level reporting across divisions, countries, or business units with separate SAP production instances.

For Employee Central and SAP SuccessFactors reporting, combined with payroll data, this functionality is part of the core features of Easy Reporter for SuccessFactors. The other examples, such as reporting from different SAP environments, are discussed in more detail below.

Avoiding Manual Data Extraction

Often, SAP customers export data to Excel and use manual processes to merge the data. However, Easy Reporter simplifies this by allowing you to build the required report and select the remote system to run the report in. This process runs the report in both the current and remote systems.

Example: Headcount Report

To create a headcount report combining data from multiple SAP systems:

  1. Build the Report: Create the necessary report or use a pre-delivered report from SpinifexIT.
  2. Select Remote Systems: During execution, choose the remote systems you want to include.
  3. Execute the Report 

Easy Reporter will connect to the remote system using RFC (Remote Function Call), pass the report definition, run the report with the selection criteria and date ranges, and return the data. This data is then merged with the source system data to produce a single report.

The remote system is selected from a list of available systems when running the report.

Catering to Complex Scenarios

In cases where data needs to be transformed for compatibility:

  • Remapping Codes: Easy Reporter allows remapping of remote or current system results.
  • Merge Options: Various merge options are available, controlled by fields indicating the system the report is run in, enabling different functionalities for different systems.

Handling Non-SAP Systems

If comparing data with a non-SAP system, data can be imported from a local file and combined with SAP data, even across multiple SAP systems.

Example Reports

1. Comparison Report: Compares data between two systems, showing total gross columns from both the remote and current systems, with calculations highlighting differences and color-coded cells for issues.

2. Headcount Report: Merges employee totals from both current and remote systems into a single report, with breakdowns by gender and data from multiple remote systems.

By leveraging Easy Reporter, you can streamline reporting processes, reduce manual efforts, and ensure accurate, consolidated data reporting across diverse SAP HCM environments.

PAYROLL & HR SOLUTIONS FOR TODAY’S WORKFORCE

Enhancements to the Payroll Productivity Solutions

Our Payroll Productivity Suite offers a range of tools to simplify the daily tasks of the Payroll and HR team. These mature solutions have continually evolved to meet the needs of our customers, with numerous new features added over time. Some of these enhancements are outlined below.

As more and more customers are using the HCM solutions through browsers, as of this release we have a version of Easy Reporter that is fully FIORI compatible. This allows for full execution and building of reports, without needing to use SAPGUI any longer. Many advanced features are included in this release including ability to easily run background reports and view the results in the WebUI without needing to resort to viewing spool files.

In addition, we have added many core features to the standard solution, including the ability to customize emails or email files to include fields from the reports. The bulk scheduling that we recently added has also been expanded with new features to better maintain the existing bulk runs.

For those customers using Easy Reporter Lite, we have expanded the menus to include the pre-delivered reports, and allow you much more flexibility in building reports (Just like you are using full Easy Reporter).

Lastly, we have continued to add to the data you can get, including a much requested feature of being able to report historical ORG/PD information.

For customers using Easy Reporter with the SuccessFactors Connector, we have added the ability to report the hierarchy of the Department, Division and Position.  This is similar to the widely used feature in Easy Reporter where we can report the Organizational Hierarchy.

In addition, you can now easily add to the data sources available in SuccessFactors by simply ticking extra entities to include in the reporting fields. 

Effortless Data Cloning with Easy Clone: SpinifexIT’s data cloning and anonymization solution provides customers with a quicker and simpler method to create test data using their most recent production data before launching their payroll system live. With the Employee Central Extension, this data can also include the Employee Central Data.

This release includes enhancements to further improve the copy process. New data options include the ability to copy the USA tax reporter data. There is also the ability to now scramble/randomize more tables, including both employee and configuration tables.  For the employee central copying we have improved the solution in several areas including the ability to check for fields that are not writable in the target system.  We have also made several improvements to the way the pick-lists are handled for customers who have pick-lists using Labels.

IMPLEMENTATIONS & MIGRATIONS, MADE EASIER

Enhancements to the Migration & Implementation Solutions

Easy Migration and Easy Go Live solutions can assist you with migrating to a new system or implementing a new environment, whether you have been using SAP solutions for a long time or are just implementing SAP S/4HANA or Employee Central Payroll.

Easy Migration can easily transfer your configuration to a new environment with minimal effort. If you want to clean up your configuration, remap it to new values, or merge multiple systems, this is the ideal solution for you.

Enhancements to this solution include many more tables that you can remap the configuration for when moving from system to system.   For merging systems or just tidying up your configuration this adds many additional data sources.

In addition, we have started to add the SpinifexIT tables, so you can easily transfer our product to your new system.  We have started with Easy Reporter, but will followup with the other products soon.

Easy Go Live allows you to migrate your employees to your new SAP system (ECP or S/4HANA) with ease. It includes embedded testing and analysis tools to ensure that your payroll functions the same in the new system as it did in your legacy system.

This release includes features to include statistics on the parallel run screens of the number of records.  It also makes it much easier to set up the solution to drill down into the data to examine an employee – When comparing to an external system that the data is being loaded from a local file.

We have also added the ability to transport Scenarios and Status Codes to a new environment.  This makes the setup and maintenance much easier as you move from system to system.

Good news for customers who want to keep SAP HCM or Payroll longer

Many of you likely know, SAP previously announced their “End of Life” dates for the current SAP ECC solutions. This is 2027 with extended maintenance up to 2029. 

Previously, the only option for customers seeking a long-term Payroll solution was to switch to the Employee Central Payroll (ECP) option.

At the same time, many customers have been migrating their core ERP solution to the S/4HANA release.  Payroll, including HCM, can be  installed into this environment using a compatibility pack, but it would require installing the EHP 8 version into the system.

Here comes S/4HANA 2022 with SAP HCM Embedded

SAP has recently released the S/4HANA 2022 release, which now includes SAP HCM integrated into its core package. This provides customers moving to S/4HANA with a simpler landscape and upgrade options. Customers will no longer have to use compatibility packs or go through separate upgrade processes.

This also means that SAP HCM is now part of the standard SAP supported solution until 2040. This allows customers who are not quite ready to upgrade to SuccessFactors to continue utilizing this solution in the foreseeable future.

What is the difference between the ECC Version and S/4 HANA 2022?

Well, other than providing the HCM solution, which includes most of the commonly used features such as Payroll, Employee Infotypes, Organizational Data, Time Evaluation and more, there is not much new. This is primarily a technical delivery, but it allows for upgrades with minimal changes.

As part of this delivery,the transactions, tables, code, etc. remain largely unchanged. Over time, it may receive additional enhancements ahead of the ECC version of SAP, however, the majority of SAP’s product development efforts will continue to be directed towards cloud solutions such as SuccessFactors. 

In addition, certain advanced features such as the Payroll Center, which previously required separate installation, are now included in the core delivery.

This also means that SAP HCM is now part of the standard SAP supported solution until 2040. This allows customers who are not quite ready to upgrade to SuccessFactors to continue utilizing this solution in the foreseeable future.

SpinifexIT Solutions on S/4HANA 2022

To support our customers, we will also be setting up a complete S/4HANA landscape for Development and Support. As part of our 2023.R1 release, we will be collaborating with SAP to certify it on the S/4HANA 2022 release. 

In the next few months of 2023, SpinifexIT will release a S/4HANA specific release.  This release will include new features for customers who are migrating to S/4HANA. Easy Reporter, in particular, will have a new user interface that is Fiori-enabled and aligned with the S/4HANA design. Additionally, the default reporting capabilities for decluster tables from the Payroll Control Center will be included to take advantage of the HANA performance. We are committed to continue to enhance this version and align our other solutions with the HANA version in the future.

Customers Upgrading to S/4HANA 2022

While the standard SAP upgrade process and SUM Tool (SAP Upgrade Manager) will apply to many customers, those looking to maximize the benefits of migration may choose to use the SpinifexIT Migration Solutions. These solutions allow for customers to perform tasks such as consolidation of naming conventions, deletion of unused configuration, and selective migration of employees of payroll history. Whether you want to streamline your configuration or just move the latest decade of payroll data, the migration solution can help you achieve those goals.

The SpinifexIT solutions, Easy Migration and Easy Go Live, are designed for this purpose.. Infact, during our internal testing, we found that these solutions made the migration process extremely efficient. For example, by using these solutions, we were able to quickly copy the Australian Configuration and data for 20 employees, including historical payroll results, infotypes, and organizational data, to the new S/4HANA system. Within just two hours of setting up the test system, we were able to run payroll and validate it against our ECC 6 EHP system, where the configuration and data originated. This highlights the ease and speed of our migration solutions.  You should discuss this possibility with your implementation partner on using these solutions as part of the migration.

The Easy Suite solutions can be used not only for migrating and implementing SAP HCM, but also for day-to-day operations. While many of our customers are familiar with the capabilities of the Easy Suite, they may not be aware that we also offer migration solutions to speed up the migration process. These solutions can help you to make the transition to SAP HCM as smooth and efficient as possible.

Our first batch of graduates hired in 2022 was a huge success. Despite the challenging times during the pandemic, SpinifexIT was able to provide gainful employment to these young professionals and help them jump start their career in software development in the world of SaaS and SAP SuccessFactors. The group worked on several projects under the Strato HCM solution suite. They were trained by our top developers who also recently represented SpinifexIT in an AWS conference. Following their completion of the program, SpinifexIT absorbed and hired 5 graduates for the QA and Testing team and another 5 for the development team.
