20+ years in the SAP ecosystem across SAP, Partner, and Customer roles has given me a unique perspective on what makes our SAP community so powerful – collaboration, shared learning, and a constant drive to evolve.
Since joining SpinifexIT as a Global Solution Architect just over six months ago, that perspective has sharpened, seeing firsthand how the right tools can simplify complexity and accelerate business operations.
I was delighted to have the opportunity to attend and present at the recent Australian Customer Days, connecting face-to-face with our customers, exchanging ideas, and sharing what’s new at SpinifexIT, where our roadmap is heading, and how we’re aligning with SAP’s strategic direction. This blog provides a brief summary of the key themes and insights covered across the sessions.
At SpinifexIT, our core belief – that our success is intrinsically linked to the success of our customers – drives our product development. Our mission has always been to simplify the complexities of SAP and empower our customers to achieve long-term success. That commitment was on full display during our recent Customer Information Sessions across Australia in February, where we were delighted to reconnect with you – our valued customers.
The sessions were designed as a collaborative forum, giving us a vital opportunity to connect directly with you, listen to your evolving needs, and share the latest innovations driving your HR and payroll operations forward.
The tone was set by our host, Nathan Wood, VP Sales ANZ, who reminded everyone that feedback is a gift – and jokingly threatened to lock the doors until feedback forms were completed.
Kim Rawlings, National Director – Consulting & Customer Success, alongside Senior Consultant Tony Vitelli, kicked things off by sharing what’s new and what’s next, highlighting the latest Easy Suite 2026.R1 release – driven by your feedback.
Showcased innovations included Easy Suite AI with the SpinifexIT Copilot, providing in-product support through natural language queries. This is available across the suite, including Easy Reporter, Easy Dashboards, Easy Helpdesk, Payroll Control Center, and Easy Reporter Web – now featuring an improved interface with a draggable floating window, solution-based filtering, and full-screen mobile capability.
We also shared a timely reminder of Release Support Cycle end dates, along with the benefits of participating in our Early Adopter Pilot Program, including two days of complimentary training.
Finally, we provided insight into how SpinifexIT is supporting Payday Super, aligned with SAP through a phased approach. Kim and Tony also shared real-world customer challenges and solutions, along with a reminder of the value of our free Solution Health Checks and the Easy STP special offer.
A central and critical theme of our Customer Days was SpinifexIT’s unwavering dedication to modernising our solutions. We are committed to ensuring our portfolio not only aligns with but actively accelerates your move to the SAP Cloud either SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) or S/4HANA.
Using natural language queries, drastically simplifying complex tasks like report generation, data analysis, and troubleshooting. The CoPilot is poised to become the intuitive interface for your payroll team in the future.
The energy and insightful questions from our customers during the sessions were inspiring. Your feedback is the catalyst for our continuous improvement, and we encourage you to continue sharing your ideas, engaging in discussions, and raising questions with other users in the SpinifexIT Customer Community. This platform is your resource for best practices, peer support, and direct dialogue with the SpinifexIT team.
