Creative Brief

Complete this brief when you have a project that includes a single asset that only requires copywriting support and/or creative design support

Frequently Asked Questions

Please take a moment to review our FAQs. These will help guide you when filling out your marketing request brief.

Creative Requests should be submitted when requesting a single asset or a single asset revision. (copy/content/design)

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Brochure / One-pager / E-Guide creation and/or redesign
  • Google Slides Reformatting
  • Virtual Cards
  • Webpage Update
  • In-App banner changes
  • Signature changes
  • Off-campaign Social Media Posts

If marketing has any questions, Richelle (Creative Lead) or someone assigned from the Marketing Creative Team will reach out to you via Slack or Email. They will update their corresponding Monday ticket with your additional information.

The assets will be delivered to you for your review and approval before the recorded deadline so any final changes required can still be made prior to the due date.

After your request has been reviewed by the marketing team, an estimated time frame will be determined depending on the complexity, importance and urgency of your request. Timelines may also vary depending on the existing workload of the team.

If you want to update the information on your e-signature, please head over to:

https://www.signaturesatori.com/app/user#. We follow a campaign-based signature structure for customer-facing employees – we do not change this on the fly and we discourage any personal modifications, as stated on this FAQ.

If you are requesting a separate signature for a separate campaign, please complete the Campaign request form.

If the presentations are all in line with a specific campaign, kindly complete the Campaign Brief. If the presentations cover separate smaller initiatives and are not to be used for a larger campaign, please use the Creative Brief.

Eg. Edit an RFP Deck and a Strato Overview deck for 1 Prospect = Creative Brief

Edit a series of Easy Suite and Strato decks for an ongoing Partner Education initiative = Campaign Brief

Typically, we will not accept urgent requests with <2 working days to prepare. Likewise, we require everyone to complete the Creative or Campaign form when requesting any collateral or operational support from Marketing.

If you need additional help completing your forms or if you will need someone to evaluate your requirements to complete the process, please let us know by sending an email to [email protected], and someone from our team will guide you through.

Please use the Creative Brief form and indicate all the details for your upcoming event. Marketing will create the collateral (social media image, text content) and send it for your approval before scheduling.

Of course. We would have loved to put it on Jira as a field description, however, according to JIRA admin, it is not possible to show this in custom forms. We hope the pointers below would help guide you instead.

  • Project Name What is the item about? You can include a quick, single-line summary of what you want to accomplish, eg. “Redesign Demo Slide Deck for XXXX”

  • Requester/s – It should be you, or someone else from your team who can approve on your behalf.

  • Request Type – these are typically the creative requests we receive. If yours doesn’t fall under any of these categories, hit “Others”, and include details in your description.

  • Description – Please provide the strategic context for how this request came about. Why are we doing this project? Why is it important to the business?

  • Target Audience  Please include demographics and psychographics and situations of use at a high level. Do not use “all Enterprise Business or all SAP, be more specific.

  • Timing & Deliverables – Indicate the general desired timing for completion and/or specific deadlines and milestones as well as the specific materials the team needs to deliver.

  • (Optional) Specific Requirements – List any technical specifications for the asset required. Eg. “e-brochure should be A4 in size, with 300 dpi.” Skip this part if you already included this in your request description.

  • Collaborator/s – Aside from the requestor/s, please add anyone else who should be notified about the asset’s completion so they may add feedback if needed.

  • (Optional) Is this project tied to a separate initiative? – If yes, please indicate the campaign this is tied to so we can merge this ticket into the larger request. If not, state “No”, or leave it blank.

  • Additional input & references – Add any other information that may be helpful for the team to accomplish your requests. Links to pegs, and/or examples of related projects would be helpful. Here’s the part where you can also include your document’s / slide’s link, if any.

  • Due Date: The deadline for Marketing to handover the final version of the asset to the stakeholder/s (Requester/s and Collaborator/s)

  • Alternatively, you may also attach any files you wish for Marketing to work on or to use as a reference.

Some of the fields filed under the CREATIVE form are also applicable to campaigns. Here are some of the unique fields that are available for those filing Campaign requests:

  • Objective What is the overall problem we’re trying to solve for the business? What would be considered successful? Indicate primary, secondary and other auxiliary objectives as required. Eg. “1: Drive leads to the SAP Store, 2: Awareness that our solutions are in the SAP store”

  • Customer TakeawayDescribe the action(s) we want the target user(s) to take, or what the consumer should feel (Brand specific) after observing the project’s materials. This should be one or two lines.  Eg. “Viewers should feel that SpinifexIT is a trusted partner by SAP hence the spotlight feature”

  • Business Goals & KPIs Indicate how we will measure the success of this project from a business perspective. Eg. “Leads generated, Post impressions,  engagement rate, SAP store leads”

  • (Optional) Key Message Points – List the main message points we want to communicate to the target audience. Be specific in order of hierarchy.  Eg. “Get Easy Reporter from the SAP Store”, “ER is a trusted solution by SAP, and by over 300+ spinifexIT customers”

After your request has been reviewed by the marketing team, an estimated time frame will be determined depending on the complexity, importance and urgency of your request. Timelines may also vary depending on the existing workload of the team.
